On November 11, people across Canada pause to honour those who have served our country in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping. On Friday, November 7, starting at 10:45 a.m., we will come together as a school community to mark Remembrance Day. Parents/guardians are invited to join us.
Remembrance Day helps us reflect on courage, kindness, and the importance of peace. At Bridlewood, we will take time to listen, to remember, and to appreciate the freedoms we enjoy. As we wear our poppies and stand in silence together, we join Canadians everywhere in saying: Lest we forget.
Students who participate in service clubs are encouraged to wear their uniforms to school on Friday. Poppies will be distributed at school, and students may wish to bring a small donation for the Poppy Fund.
