Dear Bridlewood Families,

Entering our final week of the school year gives us an opportunity to reflect, celebrate, and share a few important reminders and upcoming events. Please read on!

A heartfelt thank you goes to our Grade 1 students and teachers for the lovely assembly they hosted last Friday morning. It was a beautiful celebration of learning, growth, and teamwork. As always, coming together as a school community strengthens our sense of belonging, lifting our spirits and reminding us that connected is what we are, and connection is how we grow.

June 21 marked National Indigenous Peoples Day—an important opportunity to honour and celebrate the rich cultures, histories, languages, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. As a learning community, we remain committed to listening, learning, and continuing our journey toward understanding and reconciliation.

Special appreciation also goes to our wonderful volunteers, dedicated school staff, and our friends from the Calgary Stampede and Batter Boys for organizing and facilitating such a fantastic pancake breakfast last Tuesday. Your generosity and community spirit created a memorable experience for our students and staff.

Looking ahead, our final week together includes several exciting events:

  • Monday, June 22: Grade 5 Field Trip to the Leighton Centre
  • Tuesday, June 23: Fun Lunch – KFC
  • Wednesday, June 24 at 1:00 p.m.: Sports Day
  • Thursday, June 25 at 1:00 p.m.: Grade 6 Celebration

And believe it or not—Friday, June 26 is the final day of school for students!

With the school year drawing to a close, thank you for the trust, partnership, and support you have shown throughout the year. It has been a privilege to learn and grow together.

Our Bridlewood community continues to be something special, and we are grateful for each of you. Thank you for an amazing year at Bridlewood School.
