Picture Day — Tuesday, September 22

Picture Day is this Tuesday, September 22. We look forward to capturing this year's school memories! 

Evacuation Drill — Wednesday, September 23

This Wednesday, we will hold our first Evacuation On-Site practice drill (e.g., fire drill) of the school year.

Throughout the year, we will complete six evacuation drills, two lockdown practices, and one evacuation drill to an alternate site (Glenmore Christian Academy). These practices are intended to help students and staff become familiar with our emergency procedures and know what to do in the event of an emergency. 

Terry Fox Assembly & School Run — Thursday, September 24

We are excited to host our annual Terry Fox Assembly and School Run this Thursday, September 24.

Our Grade 5 students have been working hard to lead this year's assembly, which will begin at approximately 1:15 p.m. The school run will immediately follow the assembly.

Parents and guardians are welcome to join us. 

How to Support

  • We are proud to continue Terry's legacy and raise money for cancer research. If you would like to contribute, students are welcome to bring a “Toonie for Terry” to school, or families can make a donation online through our school fundraising page. 

Thank You for Joining Us at last week's Open House 

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for our Open House last Thursday evening. We really appreciated the opportunity to meet with parents, guardians and students and to welcome you into our school.

Parent and guardian interest, communication and support are important parts of a successful school experience. Please reach out to your child's teacher at any time if you have questions or concerns—from the small to the significant. We value working together to support student learning and success. 

Non-Instructional Day — Friday, September 25

Friday, September 25 is a Non-Instructional Day for students. There will be no classes for students.
