Conferences

Thank you to all of the families who attended conferences at the school last week. This was an opportunity for families to discuss their students’ learning with teachers and to discuss students’ next steps in learning. Our next formal reporting on student achievement will be through report cards in January.

Mayor's Annual Food Drive

Bridlewood School will again be collecting donations of food for the Mayor's Annual Food Drive. Boxes for donations are set up in our Gathering Area. Please consider donating items such as canned beans, meat or vegetables, cereal, baby formula, and pasta sauce.

Trickster Theater Residency

We are very excited to have Trickster Theater coming to Bridlewood School on Dec. 11 to 15. During this residency, classes will be working with artists daily. Shows are developed based on an improvisation process to develop movement and dialogue. In order for this residency to be a success we will be asking for parent volunteers all during this week. Please consider signing up to help during this week.

School Council and Fundraising Society

On behalf of the Bridlewood School Fundraising Society we would like to extend a heartfelt thank-You to all the families that participated in the Read-A-Thon, as well as the community members for donating prizes. We hope your children had fun reading this past month!

Congratulations to the Grade 4’s in Mr. Bhachu’s class for raising the most funds and earning a class pizza party! All students who participated in the Read-A-Thon will get to select a participation prize on Wednesday, December 6th.

We look forward to seeing you at the Winter Family PJ’s and Board Games Night Thursday, December 7.

If you haven’t got your tickets yet, make sure you purchase them before they sell out. Tickets are $2 per person (parents/guardians are required to be in attendance with children) and must be purchased through your account with Healthy Hunger account under Special Event (https://healthyhunger.ca/).
