School Conferences in November

School Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, November 23 (Grades K to 6 evening; Kindergarten (during the day) and Friday, November 24 (Grades K to 6) morning. Sign up for conferences will take place beginning Wednesday, November 15. Parents will be able to sign up for conferences through their MyCBE portal.

Please plan to sign up for Parent-Teacher-Student conferences. This is an important time for parents, teachers and students to discuss student learning and next steps.

We Are All Connected

This year our school’s overarching theme is, We Are All Connected. Teachers are building out this theme through their tasks in their classrooms, when Learning on the Land, and with other classes. Look for more information in the coming months!

School Fees

Lunch Supervision - Please log into your MyCBE account online and register for lunch supervision. The fee will be added to your account later in October. No child is ever denied access because of an inability to pay fees. Fee waiver applications can be filled out through your MyCBE account.

Halloween

Tuesday, October 31 will continue to be a day of learning at school. Students have the option of wearing a school appropriate Halloween costume to school on this day.

Please note the following requirements for costumes should your child choose to participate:

• Masks, props (such as fake weapons) remain at home. Please be mindful of costumes that may be frightening for some of our younger and more sensitive learners. No blood or gore.
• Costumes should be such that students should be able to participate in regularly-scheduled activities such as physical education.

Please save candy and treats for Halloween evening celebrations as we will not be able to hand out treats to students. We have a number of children that have allergies and food sensitivities.
