Here are your weekly updates:
Reminder: Yearly Online Forms
An e-mail from the CBE to families reminding to complete online forms has been sent out over the past few weeks.
- Parents/legal guardians are asked to complete the following forms online (Use the SchoolEngage application that is found in your MyCBE account):
- Demographic Verification 2023-2024-This form includes your child’s personal information as well as parent/legal guardian contact information.
- Citizenship Information Update 2023-2024-This form becomes available if you change your child’s citizenship information on the Demographic Verification form.
- Annual Authorization 2023-2024-This form provides consent for school and district use of personal information.

Meet the Teacher/Open House
We are very pleased to welcome families to our Meet the Teacher/Open House on Thursday, September 21, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Please plan to drop in between these times to meet your child’s teacher and see their classroom and our school.
Popsicles on the Playground - An Invitation from Your Fundraising Society
Bridlewood School Fundraising Society (BSFS) would like to welcome all Bridlewood School families to Popsicles on the Playground during Bridlewood School’s Open House on Thursday, September 21 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Stop by the playground and learn more about BSFS and how you can give a helping hand in making a difference at our school.
Volunteers are needed for the Fundraising Casino on October 12 and 13. Email bridlewoodschoolcouncil@gmail.com for more information on how you can help.
Scholastic Book Fair September 20-21
Our Scholastic Book Fair will take place on September 20-21
The book fair will be open for viewing for students during school time Monday, September 18 and Tuesday, September 19. Students can make purchases during school hours on Wednesday and Thursday. Families are invited to come by in person during the Open House (Thursday 5:00-6:30pm) and see what amazing books are available for purchase.
Watch for news leading up to our Scholastic Book Fair! Remember, all purchases benefit our school.
VOLUNTEERS! WE NEED YOU!
Please contact Library Assistant, Jennifer Johner (jljohner@cbe.ab.ca), to volunteer to help make our book fair a success. We are looking for volunteers for the following time slots:
Wednesday:
2:00 - 3:00pm (1 volunteer)
Thursday:
8:30-11:00am (1 or 2 volunteers)
2:00 - 3:00pm (1 volunteer)
5:00-6:00pm (2 volunteers)
6:00-7:00pm (2 volunteers)
Picture Day is Coming
Lifetouch Photography will be at our school on Thursday, September 28 to take students’ individual pictures.
We need volunteers to help this event run smoothly. Please email us at Bridlewood@cbe.ab.ca should you be able to help us out that day. Volunteers are required to have a current police security clearance.
