Bridlewood Month of Heart
During the next month our school community will pay special attention to the Heart to Belong domain as identified in the CBE Indigenous Education Holistic Lifelong Learning Framework. This focus will see students and staff engaged in reflections, lessons, discussions, and activities intended to develop and nurture important capacities for social awareness including:
- Taking others’ perspectives
- Recognizing strengths in others
- Demonstrating empathy and compassion
- Showing concern for the feelings of others
- Understanding and expressing gratitude

Tuesday February 4 -The Bridlewood School Fundraising Society will host snack sales at the school. Funds raised from the snack sale will be directed toward supporting Bridlewood families affected by the recent condo fire. All snacks are $1, with a limit of 5 snacks/student.

- Thursday February 6 FUN Lunch – Coco Brooks
- Thursday February 11 from 6:30-7:30PM Grade 6 Mandatory Parent Meeting for YMCA Camp Chief Hector Eco-School. This meeting will be held at the school.
- Thursday February 13 & Friday February 14 Teachers' Convention school closed
- Monday February 17 Family Day school closed
- Wednesday February 26 PINK SHIRT day - Assembly time TBA
- February 27 Hold the date for FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT at Bridlewood School. This is Bridlewood School Fundraising Society sponsored event that will be facilitated in collaboration with Grade 6 parents and students. The proceeds from this event will be directed toward offsetting the per student fee for the YMCA Camp Chief Hector overnight Eco School experience.
