Hello Bridlewood Parents/Guardians,

Please read on for this week’s updates and information.

Student Learning Conferences

Thank you to those who were able to connect with teachers online to discuss their child’s/student’s learning and progress. We encourage all families to reach out to their child’s/student’s teacher whenever they have questions, concerns, or need clarification. Ongoing communication between educators, students, families, and other professionals is essential for supporting student growth. It allows everyone to answer the important question: “How is my child doing in school?”

This consistent dialogue helps families stay informed about student achievement throughout the reporting period, ensuring that the information shared in report cards is both clear and expected. We appreciate your partnership in supporting your child's learning journey.

Frisbee Rob

We are looking forward to welcoming Frisbee Rob (AKA Rob McLeod) to our school this week.  Rob will join us from Tuesday-Thursday, leading a frisbee residency that will open with a whole school assembly and include hands-on instruction, skill-building, and game-based learning throughout the week.  In addition to learning to throw and catch, this residency will help build confidence, develop physical literacy, and inspire students to stay active for life.

Thank you to our Bridlewood School Council and Fundraising Society for providing the finances to support this residency!  As always, we are grateful to our parents who dedicate time and energy toward benefiting our students and our school community.

Family Movie Night at Bridlewood School is Back On! 🎬

Thank you for your patience! We are excited to announce that Family Movie Night, featuring The Wild Robot, will take place on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00PM.  Doors open at 5:45PM, and as always, to add to the enjoyment of the evening, the concession stand will be open for CASH ONLY purchases. Bring the whole family for a fun-filled evening while supporting a great cause.  Funds raised through this event will help offset the cost of the Grade 6 Outdoor School experience.  Some of the students will be on hand during the evening to help facilitate the event.  Please take a moment to ask them about their trip!

🎟 Tickets available at the door- CASH ONLY please. Thank you to everyone who purchased their tickets through Healthy Hunger, tickets will also be available to purchase at the event!
