Hello Bridlewood Parents/Guardians,
Finishing Strong, Looking Ahead
At this point in the school year, we find ourselves living in two worlds.
On one hand, we are focused on finishing strong—and doing so with heart. Each day still holds promise, and we continue to encourage everyone to bring their best. We know that every class, every interaction, and every effort matters, as we close out the year. It is a time to reflect on how far we have come and to celebrate the growth, resilience, and joy we have experienced together.
At the same time, we are already looking ahead. A new school year is on the horizon— planning is already underway to ensure that next year is welcoming, enriching, and full of possibility.
With both the present and the future in mind, you are invited to read on to find out how you can support and get involved.
Planning for 2025-26
As we begin planning for the upcoming school year, we kindly request early notification of any students who will not be returning to Bridlewood School for the 2025-2026 school year.
(Please note, if your student is transitioning from grade 6 to grade 7, no notification is necessary.)
Thank you for your cooperation!
Volunteer Tea
We are excited to invite the wonderful folks, parents, guardians, grandparents, and others who have volunteered with us throughout the school year to our Bridlewood Volunteer Tea! This event will take place on June 19 from 2:00-3:00PM in our Gathering Space.
We would love to celebrate with you and share our gratitude for your time, effort, and support in making this school year a success. Please watch for a formal invitation coming soon!
Bridlewood School Casino Fundraiser
Bridlewood School Casino Fundraiser will take place on May 21/22. Some volunteer positions are still open. Please consider filling a vacant role (even as a backup) using the link below.
This event is incredibly beneficial as the funds raised impact all students who attend our school. Our last casino, held in 2023, resulted in funding that has covered:
- Fieldtrips (including the fee for transportation) at each grade level. This has meant that parents/guardians have rarely had to pay for off-site experiences.
- The purchase Chrome Books/iPads, New Sports Equipment, Art Supplies, and Furnishings for our two sensory rooms.
- Residency programs - Frisbee Rob and... we are looking forward to Alien-In Line skating in June!
- Student desks and tables to increase flexible seating capacity in our classrooms
If you have any questions, please email bridlewoodschoolcouncil@gmail.com for additional information. Thanks in advance for your support!
