Hello Bridlewood Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to share what is happening at school this week!

Residency

SoundKreations: Our dance residency is in full swing, and the students are having a wonderful time. If you want to pop in and watch your child’s class, feel free to contact their teacher to determine an appropriate time.

Off-site Trips

Our Grade 6 students will be heading to the YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre this week to take part in the Safe for Life program. This popular one-day field trip is directly connected to the Grade 6 Health and Life Skills curriculum and gives students an engaging, hands-on look at important safety topics.

Bridlewood School Council and Bridlewood School Fundraising Society

Please join us at the school this Wednesday at 6:30 PM. If you prefer to attend virtually, we are happy to provide that option as well—just contact us, and we will send you a Microsoft Teams link. bridlewoodschoolcouncil@gmail.com

All parents and guardians are welcome. These meetings are a great way to connect with others in our community and learn more about what is happening at our school.

Student Learning Conferences and Formal Reporting

Please note that our Student Learning Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28.

Grades 1-6 conferences will run in 15-minute increments from 3:30-7:00PM on Thursday and again from 8:00AM-12:00 noon on Friday.

Kindergarten conferences follow a slightly different schedule that will be communicated to parents/guardians by Ms. Jones and Ms. Gross.

Conferences are booked through MyCBE.  Please watch for further communication this week regarding the time/date that our Conference Manager tool will open for you to book your appointments. See our Parent-Teacher Conference page for instruction.

Please prioritize attending your children’s Student Learning Conferences where time and space is provided for you to take part in conversations with teachers specific to your child’s growth and achievement in relation to learning goals. Students are expected to attend conferences with their parents/guardians. If you are unable to attend a conference during the formal schedule, please contact teachers to make alternate arrangements.

Report Cards

Our first of two formal report cards will be shared with families on February 24, 2026.

As always, please connect directly with teachers at any time to discuss student learning and well-being.
Wishing you all a great week ahead,
Chris, Joanne, and the team at Bridlewood School
