Hello Bridlewood Parents/Guardians,
Please take a moment to read this week’s updates and information.
Beach Party Dance
Thank you to the amazing Bridlewood School Council and Society and for organizing and facilitating the Beach Party Dance on Thursday evening. This event provided a great opportunity for Bridlewood families to have a lot of fun building a sense of community, belonging, and connection.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Please remember to book your student learning conferences using the conference manager tool accessed through your MyCBE account.
Student Learning Conferences provide time and space for families to have one-on-one conversations with teachers specific to their child’s progress and achievement in relation to the intended learning goals. During these conferences, teachers will share evidence of individual student progress and achievement (e.g., student work assessed against established criteria, student reflections) with families. In preparation for conferences, parents/guardians will find it helpful to review the How is My Child Doing in School document. This document is found on the CBE Assessment and Reporting Webpage which in addition, offers many other resources to assist parents/guardians in understanding how we assess and communicate student learning
From our Bridlewood School Council and Society
Friday, November 22, marks the final day of reading for the READ-A-THON. Please ensure that you complete your pledge sheets and collect any contributions. Both items should be brought to school and submitted to your teacher by Wednesday, November 27. Following this, a top prize winner from each class will be identified, as well as the class that will earn a pizza party. Additionally, all students who return a pledge sheet, regardless of the amount of funds collected, will receive a prize. Thank you for your participation!
We sincerely appreciate the wonderful turnout for our Beach Party Dance! Events of this nature, organized by parent volunteers, rely heavily on the support of our community. We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed their time and efforts in various volunteer roles. Thank you, Principal Buhler, for taking the time to attend our event and for capturing some memorable moments with the students.
