Hello Bridlewood School Parents/Guardians
Please take a moment to read this week’s news from Bridlewood School.
Bridlewood School Spirit Week October 28-November 1
School Spirit week is an opportunity for students and staff to build community and connections. Throughout the week, everyone is invited to join the fun in alignment with daily themes. The week will also include opportunities for buddy classes to join in meaningful learning activities and a school-wide STEM challenge.
- Monday Oct. 28 – Fun Hair or Hat Day
- Tuesday Oct. 29 – Pajama Day
- Wednesday Oct. 30 – Wear something Neon Day
- Thursday Oct. 31 – Halloween - Students are invited to:
- wear a comfortable costume that accommodates trips to the washroom. For those choosing to wear costumes, a reminder that the school environment includes students with varying sensitivities. Please avoid: any kind of weapons, gore (no fake blood), masks, and peripherals like wands, canes, etc.
- wear orange and black,
- come as they are,
- or revisit fun hair/hats, PJs, or neon.
- Friday Nov. 1 – STEM challenge and assembly
IMPORTANT REQUEST – Please do not send Halloween treats or snacks to share with the class. It is best for children/students to indulge in these after school and under the supervision of parents/guardians.
Supervision Before and After School
Supervision of students by school personnel starts at 8:00am. To ensure safety please drop your students off at school between 8:00 and 8:15am. Should you arrive early, please supervise your student until 8:00am.
Upon dismissal at 3:00pm students are expected to head directly to their bus, home, or their after school program.
