Hello Bridlewood parents and guardians

I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the beautiful late summer weather! It was wonderful to see so many of you at school last week for the open house. Our team felt so encouraged by the positive and joyful interactions with students and families. Thank you for joining us — your support plays a key role in student success and helps sustain the welcoming, positive community culture we value at Bridlewood.

This Week at Bridlewood

Soccer in Schools Residency – Sept. 22–26. Coaches from Calgary Minor Soccer will lead fun, skill-based sessions with every class.

Picture Day – Tuesday, Sept. 23

Pedestrian Safety Reminder

  • Cross at corners using traffic signals and crosswalks
  • Never dart out between parked cars

Driver Reminders

  • Avoid making U-turns in a playground zone or near crosswalks.
  • Be patient, even when you are running late. Take time to make safe and smart decisions
  • Do not double park to drop-off/pick-up students. This puts the students at risk as they get in and out of the vehicle in the traffic lane.
  • To avoid the congestion around the school:  drop-off/pick-up further away and walk to school.
