As we look forward to welcoming our students back to Bridlewood School, please take a few moments to review the following reminders and information.
Transportation
If you intend for your student(s) to access bussing to and from school, and you have not already done so, please log in to your MyCBE Account and register for transportation. It may take a few weeks for transportation to be approved. Once approved, your child’s route and schedule will be posted to your MyCBE Account.
Bus Safety
Please take a moment to review the CBE’s Bus Safety Rules and First-Time Rider information with your student(s). A quick review of bus safety expectations helps ensure that everyone has a safe and positive experience travelling to and from school each day.

Bus Dismissal
Please remember to notify the school office whenever your student(s) will not be taking the bus home. This is important, as bus attendance is taken each day before departure.
Buses are held until we have accounted for all expected riders. A quick message to the office helps us ensure a safe and timely dismissal for everyone. Thank you for your help with this.
School Fees
All applicable school fees will be added to CBE accounts in October. This includes transportation and lunch supervision fees. Field trip fees will be added to accounts as trips are booked throughout the year.

Class Organizations
A great deal of thought, care, and consideration has gone into our class organizations for the coming school year. As we welcome students, we will continue to learn more about our enrollment and the needs of our school community. This may mean that some adjustments to our class organizations are necessary over the next few weeks.
We ask for your understanding and patience with the possibility that some student reassignments may be necessary. Should changes be needed, they will be made with intention and careful consideration of what will best support our students and create strong learning environments. Our commitment is to ensure that each student is welcomed into a classroom where they feel safe, included, known, and ready to learn.
Community Expectations
We encourage families to take a moment to review the CBE Student Code of Conduct and Progressive Student Discipline policy. These documents provide a comprehensive overview of the expectations, responsibilities, and approaches that guide student behaviour across CBE.
With students, particularly our early learners, we communicate these expectations in simple and meaningful ways. At Bridlewood, we talk about what it means to take care of ourselves, each other, our learning, our school, and our community.

These expectations will be explicitly taught, practiced, and revisited throughout the year. We recognize that students are learning and developing these skills, and our role is to support them along the way. When challenges arise, we will help students understand what happened, take responsibility, repair relationships when possible, and learn from the experience.
