Hello Bridlewood Parents/Guardians,
I hope this message finds you well as we navigate what will hopefully be the last few days of these extremely cold temperatures. Please read on for some important updates.

Please ensure that your student arrives at school on time, with their snacks and lunches in hand. Thank you again to the BSFS (Bridlewood School Fundraising Society) for financing this exciting opportunity for our students, and to those adults serving as chaperons for the day.

Pink Shirt Day – Standing Together for Kindness and Against Bullying
On Wednesday, February 25, we will proudly recognize Pink Shirt Day, a special opportunity to stand together against bullying and celebrate kindness. Students are encouraged to wear pink to show their commitment to creating a caring and inclusive school community.
Keep the Pink Going on Thursday!
We invite students and staff to wear pink again on Thursday as our Grade 5 students host a Pink Shirt Day Assembly in the afternoon. This promises to be a meaningful and inspiring event focused on kindness and featuring student reflections from their experiences at the TELUS Be Brave event.
We are so proud of our students for leading important conversations about respect, empathy, and standing up for one another.
Friday February 27
Non-Instructional Day – No classes for students
Thursday March 12
YMCA Camp Chief Hector Mandatory Grade 6 Parent/Guardian in-person orientation meeting: Thursday March 12, 6:30-7:30 PM at Bridlewood School.
Parent/guardians need to be informed on the nature of extended field trips such as an Outdoor Education experience. Please save the date for our in-person parent/guardian orientation meeting. At this meeting, the school team and a member of the YMCA team will share a presentation that highlights how the needs of students will be met, how risk is managed, and what activities they will complete during their stay.
It is a requirement for parents/guardians to attend this session in preparation for students to participate in the overnight off-site experience at Camp Chief Hector.
