Hello Bridlewood Parents and Guardians,
I hope this message finds you and your children well and that you enjoyed a refreshing week away from regular routines. As we return to school, we are now in the home stretch of the 2025–2026 school year and are ready to finish strong together.
Please read on for a few important updates and reminders.
Staffing Update – Complexity Team
We are pleased to welcome Kirsten Schwartz and Lizzie Jones, who are starting this week as our Complexity Team teachers, each with a 0.5 FTE designation.
Lizzie will continue teaching her morning kindergarten class while serving in the complexity role during the afternoon periods. Kirsten is also a familiar face at Bridlewood, having filled many substitute and temporary teaching roles at Bridlewood School.
This week, and on an ongoing basis, staff will be engaging in collaborative meetings to analyze student data and identify areas of complexity. This process will help ensure that supports are responsive and delivered by teachers where they are most needed.
Indoor Shoes Reminder
Please help your child remember to bring their indoor shoes back to school on Monday.
Before the break, students were asked to take their shoes home so families could check for proper fit and condition. Ensuring that shoes fit well and are safe for daily use helps support comfort and safety in the classroom and in the gym.
Gratitude
On behalf of the teaching staff, thank you to the Bridlewood School Council and Fundraising Society for the greatly appreciated pizza supper on March 19. Your generosity is sincerely valued.
The images included in this message showcase some beautiful student work created using materials purchased through a generous grant from Kirsten Schwartz and Education Matters.
Thank you to Kirsten and Education Matters for your continued support of our students.
